This brave guy is Luka and he defiantly earns pet of the month for March. Luka’s story is scary but with the best outcome, Luka thought it would be a good idea to eat his furry friends cat toy’s! He had a very upset stomach with one passing through a few days prior to discovering another was stuck just past he’s stomach entering the small intestine.
After bloods, and an ultrasound were performed it was confirmed that something was there that didn’t belong. We had to operate immediately, Luka was in surgery for a few hours. Dr Raj had to remove the cat toy and check that there were no other obstructions.
We under estimated Luka’s strength as he is here with us today fighting fit and back to running rings around his wonderful owner Delia and her supportive family.
