Pet of the month for July 2019 goes to these 2 lovely boys- Jynx & Blacky.

Both of these boys have been seeing the Perth eye vet specialists for the past year to try and treat their condition which is called Glaucoma. Glaucoma is a condition of increased pressure within the eyeball, causing gradual loss of sight. Both of their families did absolutely amazing trying to do everything they could to save both of their left eyes, but unfortunely the treatment, which involves a particular eye drop that decreases the amount of pressure inside the eye, was not a success and so they were both booked in to have their eyes removed by Dr Raj.

Jynx & Blacky both underwent surgery to remove their eyeballs and to close up the orbit cavity, they were both very brave and strong during the anaesthetic and when they were recovering. Both have been in for their final check and are fully recovered and back to their normal selves.

We would like to thank both their owners for doing everything they could for their lovely boys.
